Privacy policy

Updated: October 2026

This policy explains what data we receive through trynpay.org, why we need it and how long we keep it. By submitting the form you agree to the terms below.

Project status and request forwarding

The Try’n’Pay project was suspended in 2016. The site remains as a page describing the service and a request form.

Requests submitted through the form are passed to a partner service so they can contact you about connecting. The partner receives the request details — name, phone, e-mail, the store information you provided and technical fields of the enquiry (language, UTM, referrer) — only to handle that enquiry.

Who processes the data

The operator of trynpay.org is the Try’n’Pay project. For privacy requests write to [email protected].

The site is used to receive acquiring connection requests and to contact prospective partners. We do not offer public user registration or personal accounts on this site.

What we collect

From the request form: name, phone, e-mail address, store category (if provided) and store website URL (if provided).

Technical data: form language, UTM parameters and referrer (if present), the first landing path of the visit, the IP address, the browser time zone, the browser identifier (User-Agent) and the language header the browser sends. The time zone lets the confirmation email show the request time in your zone. These fields are kept with the request and deleted with it.

We do not ask for passport details, card credentials or buyer order contents through this form.

Why we process data

To pass your request to a partner service so they can contact you about acquiring and accounting integration.

Technical data helps protect against spam and abuse and shows which channels bring requests.

We do not use form data for third-party advertising lists and we do not sell contact lists.

Legal bases

Processing is based on your consent confirmed by submitting the form, and on the need to respond to your pre-contract enquiry about our services.

You may withdraw consent by writing to [email protected]. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Retention and security

Request data is kept while the enquiry is open and for up to one year after it is closed, unless you ask us to delete it earlier.

Access is limited to staff who need it to reply. Mail delivery providers may receive only what is required to send transactional e-mail.

We apply organisational and technical safeguards (access control, form checks, anti-bot measures). Absolute security of internet transmission cannot be guaranteed.

Sharing with third parties

Form requests are passed to a partner service, as described in the project status section.

Beyond that, data is not shared with third parties for their own marketing. Sharing is limited to infrastructure and e-mail providers strictly for handling the request and delivering messages, and to public authorities when legally required.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site may store technical data in cookies or similar browser storage — for example to remember language and visit attribution (UTM) so a request can be processed correctly.

You can restrict cookies in your browser settings. Some site features may then work less well.

Your rights

You may request information about processing, correction of inaccurate data or deletion by writing to [email protected].

Please include the e-mail address used in the request and a short description of what you need. We will reply within a reasonable time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page with an update date.

Material changes that affect data already collected will be reflected in the policy wording and, where practical, in communication with applicants.
